Best fit
This size is commonly considered for larger household cleanouts, remodeling and mixed project debris. The advantage is that it offers useful mid-range capacity for many projects. However, weight still matters with shingles, dirt, masonry and other dense loads.
Volume is not the same as weight
A dumpster can look only partly full and still become heavy when loaded with concrete, brick, dirt, roofing material or other dense debris. Always describe heavy material before booking and follow the provider's fill and weight rules.
Check the placement area
Before delivery, think about the footprint of the container and the maneuvering room needed by the truck. Avoid assuming that a quoted cubic-yard size means every provider uses identical exterior dimensions.
