Choosing the right dumpster
Dumpster size is only one part of the decision. A smaller container filled with dense masonry can weigh more than a larger container filled with bulky household material. Access also matters: the delivery vehicle needs a workable path and the container needs a safe place to sit without blocking the project.

Meriden placement and permit note
The City of Meriden states that a permit is required when a dumpster is placed within the City right-of-way. If you expect street or public right-of-way placement, check the current requirements with Meriden Public Works before delivery. A container placed entirely on private property may involve different rules.
